Dr. Mehmood Ul Hassan Khan has Master of Public Administration from University of Punjab Lahore with specialization in management, marketing, economics and public policy. He has master degree in Development with specialization in Diplomacy and Public Relations. He has also post graduate diploma in International Relations and Basic Law. His completed his Phil leading to PhD in development. He is a prominent regional expert of China, CPEC, BRI and ASEAN.
He has rich experience in research, peace & conflict resolution, geopolitics, international affairs, and defense studies. He has been in this profession for the last thirty years. He has produced more than 10000 articles about different countries on different important subjects. He has also written more than 50 research papers on different regions not confined to China, Central Asia, Middle East and ASEAN. He delivered his papers and speeches in more than 40 international conferences in the world.
He associated with BBC Asia Network as regional expert on Afghanistan, South East Asia and Middle East in 2004. He worked as regional expert in Foreign Policy, Institute of Strategic Thinking SDE, USGAM and ANKASAM, Türkiye and had a great experience while interacting with TRT too. He has been regular contributor to China Daily, China Economic Net, CGTN, Pakistan Observer, Pakistan Today, The News, AZER NEWS, AzVISION, CBC TV Azerbaijan and PTV World & News. He used to interact with Xinhua news agency. He has already written a book on CPEC and another book on BRI will be published very soon.
Transparency International UK selected “peer Viewer” from Pakistan in 2015. He has also won best writer awards from Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. He is currently the Executive Director, The Center for South Asia & International Studies (CSAIS), Islamabad. He is Ambassador at large at IHRFW.
